Kimberly Konzack

Kimberly is the CourseWorkBooks video instructor for Algebra I Next Generation.

Kimberly is a licensed public school Mathematics 7-12 Educator with 20+ years of experience in the classroom. She also provides private/group tutoring through her own business, Expert Tutoring, LLC.

Kimberly is currently teaching math at The Antonia Pantoja Preparatory Academy, a public high school in The Bronx. She previously taught Algebra, Geometry and AP Calculus at Yeshiva University HS for Girls in Queens.

Kimberly was the valedictorian of her high school class at New Hyde Park Memorial High School and attended Adelphi University on a full academic scholarship, obtaining her B.S. in Mathematics (summa cum laude) and her M.A. in Mathematics/Secondary Education. She began her career at HAFTR High School in Cedarhurst, where she taught various Regents level classes. She then taught for ten years at North Shore Hebrew Academy High School in Great Neck. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at Adelphi University.

Kimberly also works as a homebound instructor for various high schools including Great Neck and Roslyn. She has worked successfully with elementary level students through adult learners and continues to do so as a substitute instructor at the Adult Learning Center in Great Neck. She is therefore extremely versatile in her pedagogical style and can successfully connect with a range of student abilities. She has experience in both public and private schools.

Well-known for her patience, she can explain a concept in a variety of ways in order that it be understood. Approachable and friendly, she makes students feel comfortable and safe, yet has high expectations for them. Highly energetic, hardworking, and dedicated, she strives to provide excellence in all she does for her students. It is her goal to combine her range of experience with her abilities to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, and intelligent educator.
